Olimar's Epic Dragon Mount Quest

Hi, as some of you may be aware, I am currently trying to get a mount which literally turns you into a dragon. It is the most expensive item in game, with one third of the mats costing 29,000g from a vendor. The rest are grindable, if you have the right professions. I've got a list up of what I need, have and am currently grinding for, and I will update regularly what I am doing. Here's what's happened so far:

List of stuffs needed (Striked means I have got this. Italics means I'm working on this at the moment.)

I've finished getting everything!

So far I have just been mining for the money. Have 25,000g out of 29,000g for the vial and sands, so I'm doing well. Today I have been particularly lucky mining - Usually I get 6 stacks of Elementium ores, today I got 25:



Take a look at my bag in the corner. Got a whole big bagful. It was coming out of my ears . Its worth about 1500g+, but the price for it on the AH is low at the moment, so I am waiting for it to go up again before flogging it on the AH. Soon, I'll have the money I need :P

I'd help out, I'm just not sure what I can do.

With all that elementium, I got significantly further today. I managed to sell all of it, totaling to 3000g!! I am at 27,500g of 29,000g So I am getting extremely close in that area. I have also found a person willing to make the vial for me for free, with my mats. This is good, as the average tip would cost about 2000-5000g. I am also getting closer to getting the truegold, just need the volatile elements. Things are looking positive now

The 16 potions I'll need will cost me a lot about 3500g. For now I'm not working on these though.

I know Alz has Herb & Alchemy 450 (if that helps) but idk if he can make the ones you need

I don't think so But you can still help by cheering me on :P

I have a friend who has pretty much all profs maxed I could ask him if he could do you a deal?
(Oh and when you're a dragon I want a ride on your back :p )

i can help with the herbs as missy is maxed out(550), also the volatile life, as i get loads of that just by picking flowers! i'll mail them to u rather than leave them in the bank to avoid any mistaken withdrawals as they bring alot of gold in from AH

That would be great :P being a miner I get everything but the volatile life, and herb mats. That'll be ten hardest one for me :P

I have all of the money now! I'm gonna carry on mining though to get the volatile elements I need, which will take a while still

Got all of the flasks of titanic strength I need cost me a lot. The flasks of winds will cost me a lot too, should get the money for them soon. Tyvm Missy for giving me those mats helped a lot. The hardest thing will be getting the mats for the truegold The volatile stuff is gonna take masses of mining.

Just the volatile mats now!! Tyvm Missy and everyone else who has donated mats to me, you have helped me by masses. I'm still mining for the last mats, almost got them now :P

Also, with the money I'm making I'm buying more volatile mats off the AH so it'll be quicker. I'll have everything by next week guaranteed! :P

nice work oli, i'll give missy a rest from herbing now. she has sore fingers due to the lack of herbalist gloves and stinging nettle sores

I have all the mats now! All I need to do is:

1. Get the Truegold, asking alchemists to make 'em for me. Got 6 so far, and 6 to go.
2. Go to Uldum and get those vendor mats.
3. Meet up with Vol and finally get that vial!
