Godknows Extra Five probably was browsing youtube and it was one of the 'related' videos. Naturally, because we are all weirdos (Olimar being one of them Very Happy), he clicked on the video, because it sounded absolutely ridiculous (as would any of us). But then to know it would come up if you searched for 'Poop', he probably would have.

So yes, he did probably type 'Poop' into Google Very Happy

September 2010 MOJR:

しゅうがくぎむ/shuugakugimu/就学義務

Shuugakugimu: Compulsory school attendace.

Not quite as odd as the others, but it makes you wonder why they have specific words for these things :/
Made the kanji bigger 'cause they're often quite difficult to read.

Is school attendance compulsary in Japan? I assume so, but they might be allowed to skive or something Extra Five

Awesome! I teach myself Japanese (roma-ji), one word at a time:

Words so far:

Baka: Stupid
Meruto: Melt
Ai - Love
Taberu - to eat
No - of
Uta - Song
Aka - Red
Ao - Blue
Tane - Tears
Ame - Rain
Kii - Yellow
Murasaki - Purple
Chiro - White
Watashi - I
Anahata - You
Daizusetso - to digest
Puni - Squishy
Neko - Cat
Bejitaburu - Vegetable

And of course, the first two MOJRs.

Also Aki, remember the essence of word ordering: noun before verb (i.e. you speak like Yoda). (You seek a great Jedi Knight? = Great Jedi Knight you seek?)

October 2010 MOJR:

かのこ/kanoko/鹿の子

Kanoko: A pattern of white spots, dapples, or fawn.

Similar reason to last time why this is here. Also, what's a dapple? I know I'm a week late with this one :P

November 2010 MOJR:

じどうしゃそんがいばいしょうせきにんほけん/jidoushasongaibaishousekininhoken/自動車損害賠償責任保険

Jidoushasongaibaishousekininhoken:

No, wait... listen to this right. That's a HUGE name. Guess what I means. No, go on, guess. Think of something so totally irrelevant and impossibly obscure, then post it after this.

Have a guess.

Go on.

Got something?

You think your guess might be right?

Whatever it is, it's gotta be huge, right?

Right?

Wrong.
