Olimar's Next Holiday

Hello, from today until about Wednesday next week (after Christmas) I will be on holiday! It has occured to me that no one has asked me where I'm going XD but then again I must go on so many holidays you don't really care anymore ;P

It's looking to be quite an adventure - I'm stranded in my house with snow covering everywhere! Someone help me out!!! I can't miss my flight! (Could make for a good film idea... Indiana Olimar and the airport amidst the snow-like desert...)

Ooooh and btw, if you're hoping to fly from Gatwick you might have to change plans, Surrey and Sussex have been hit hard with the snow

Hi, got a free 30 mins intent access at the hotel I'm at. Flying today, my flight has not been cancelled aTm so hopefully It'll be ok. Going to a hotel nearby a day before was a good idea

Hello... Finally got to the hotel, been highly stressful. Got 24 hours free Internet though so I am very happy now :P
On Sunday morning I woke up very early to catch the flight. About 5am I went to the airport, which was only five minutes away. This was good, the snow was barely a problem. Then my luck stopped. After a 3 hour wait, the flight was suddenly announced as delayed, with about half an hour to go. I was gonna have to wait another three hours After a boring time, it was finally time to go to the gate where the plane was. Except, the gate number had not been called. I went to complain, and the staff said that there was not enough crew to run the plane, and that I would have to wait even longer. 30 mins later I was told, and I got onto the plane. The plane journey was 4 hours long, and went ok. However, near to landing the passengers were told that the airspace of the place I was going to was closed, as it was 1 am. So we had to land in a different country :O We were dumped in a two star hotel and told to come back to the airport at 7pm the next day. At 7pm, a bus took us all there. After the usual horrifically dull wait, we got onto the plane without much problems. But, according to the idiotic staff, there were bags on the plane that did not belong to anyone. Because of safety procedures, they had to make sure it was not a bomb. We were all called out of the plane to collect our bags, and the remaining bags would be taken away. This took TWO HOURS. And, after all of that, all the bags had been claimed and the staff had just made a mistake. Much swearing at staff followed. Some people were kicked off the plane for rudeness. It was getting late again, and the airspace was starting to shut for the night. Incredibly luckily, we were allowed to land there anyway, so we finally flew over. The flight was only half an hour long. When we landed, I got onto the bus and wearily waited to get to the hotel.
At the hotel (2am this morning) the staff were sympathetic and gave me a free meal. Then after everything, I went to bed and got sleep. This has been the most stressful thing in my life, I could definitely say.

This morning I woke up late, had breakfast (buffets every day, every meal!) and have rested.

Hopefully the guild has been ok, and not had as much bad luck as me :P

Phew, what a stressful journey that must have been! I feel almost exhausted from just reading all that!

Wow that's a tough break Olimar My sister had the same kinda trouble when she went to Greece, glad you're wherever you need to be now though. Have a wonderful holiday and extra special Cookies and Cake to you too...and everyone else as well at that, I'm in a good mood

I find it hard to believe that any member of Miako's family would be 'regular', unless her genes are just a throwback to some ancient ancestor

Lorlina you've seen a picture of me and my sister =S in fact you said to me once why do I talk more about my sister than I do my brother. Who is my half brother, you're quite right.

Nooo that one is my best friend, the one I had before that is my sister, ironically we look less alike than me and my friend. I'll put that picture on later if I go on my laptop :p

Hello again :P am much less exhausted now. Been lazing around in the sun, and at the beach etc. If anyone can guess where I am, I'll give you 50 points to spend on the shop. It's where I went last year for Christmas :p (idk if you can remember)
