New smileys

Heya, we need new smileys as I stole the current ones from another site, it'll look bad if we rare a public site with someone else's smileys so if you have any ideas for our new smiley character, post them here. Remember that smileys are generally small images.

It'll be sad to see them go. Anyway, I just completed a base smiley representing the current :l)

Nice and simple, very bold. However, I was thinking of doing a little char like these guys It will be sad to see them go, so we need new buddies to use :P

I also made this random lil guy on a whim, he should be around the same size as the chao, I think.

Also, I started downloading the patch about 5-10 mins ago. Am currently on 16%, and it reckons it'sa gonna tae another 4 hrs yet.

Why do they have to go anyway? Why don't we keep them, and then have one part of the site which says 'Credit to (name of website you got smileys from) for the awesome Chao smileys)

I thought of that, but I don't think we should really credit someone, we'll always have an idiot saying 'Hey those aren't yours!' and having to re-explain things can get incredibly annoying. Having to give a site link on every page would be incredibly boring to do as well.

I have a nice idea now, which is that we change the smileys a bit, just enough to make them count as ours So we could get our normal one and maybe tweak his key features, maybe make his floating ball part of a hat or something.

I was thinking of putting the credits at the bottom of the homepage, and people saying 'Those aren't yours!' are just ignorant. Nobody's ever questioned them anyway.

It was the only reason why I bothered to restate the RP rules at the beginning of the second RP. I knew I was annoyed at this, and would burst out with it eventually. The last rule I said on the first post of RP 2 was for a good reason.

I don't remember me talking about this before. I was going to after the first RP, but decided against it as it was only a test story, and I just wanted to see how everything panned out by itself.
